Easy process, good outcome

I decided to try a Mixed Case this time to sample different varietals. The website was easy to navigate for ordering, and I appreciated the clear descriptions. Delivery took about a week, which was fine, and everything was securely packed. I didn't need to contact support, but the overall experience was smooth. The Pinot Noir and Zinfandel were particularly enjoyable. It's a solid choice if you want to try several wines and support animal rescues.

Good value on the Sparkling

I was looking for some sparkling wine for a small get-together and saw Rescue Dog Wines. Their Sparkling Wine was priced competitively, especially since I got free shipping on 6 bottles. The ordering was straightforward, and it arrived in about six days. The wine itself was decent for the price. It felt like a good deal all around, plus supporting rescues is a bonus.

Consistent quality, reliable service

This was my third order from Rescue Dog Wines, and they continue to impress. I typically get the Zinfandel, and it's always consistently good. This time, I also added a Branded T-shirt, which was a nice addition. Shipping is reliable, usually within a week, and the packaging always keeps the bottles safe. It's why I keep coming back; great wine and great mission.

Love the Chardonnay!

Just received my order of Chardonnay and it's fantastic! The taste is so crisp and refreshing. I'm so happy with this purchase. Knowing that 50% of profits go to animal rescues makes it even better. I will definitely be ordering from Rescue Dog Wines again!

Is it worth joining the wine club? What kind of discount do you actually get for signing up?

Z Zach Campbell 1 week ago
I think you get like 20% off as a club member? Plus maybe free shipping depending on how many bottles you get.
6
B Betty 6 days ago
Yeah, the club gets you a solid discount automatically on all your orders, usually 20%. And then the free shipping on 6+ bottles still applies. It's not a 'coupon' you enter, just part of being a member. Plus you can customize your shipments.

Hey, I'm thinking about getting a mixed case to try a few, but I'm in New York. Anyone know if they actually ship there and how long it usually takes?

A Alex T. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they ship to NY. Got a delivery last month, took about a week, maybe 8 days.

M Megan D. 1 week ago
They totally ship to NY! I've ordered a few times. Signature is usually required for delivery, just a heads up. Shipping time can vary a bit, but a week-ish is pretty standard from what I've seen.

Do they offer any kind of first-time buyer discount? Or free shipping for new customers?

S Sofia Garcia 1 week ago
Sometimes they have a newsletter signup bonus, that might be a first-order thing.

E Emily L. 1 week ago
I didn't get a specific 'first order' discount when I signed up, but if you sign up for their newsletter, sometimes they send out a code. The free shipping is usually for 6 bottles or more, regardless of if you're new or not.

how legit is the whole 'charity donation' thing? like, do they actually give half their profits away?

G Grace T. 5 days ago
From what I understand, yes, 50% of their profits go to animal rescues. It's a big part of their brand.

L Leah Wright 2 days ago
They say on their site that 50% of profits go to animal rescues. I've seen them partner with specific rescues too, so it seems pretty legit to me. You can probably find info on who they've supported if you dig a little.

Are these wines actually good, or is it more about the charity part? Like, should I expect something decent or just a novelty bottle?

J Jason N. 3 weeks ago
No, they're legitimately good! I was skeptical too, but their Pinot Noir won some awards. Not just novelty at all.

They've got a bunch of awards, you can check their site. I think the Rosé is surprisingly nice for the price. Definitely not just riding on the charity angle.

Just checking if they ever do Black Friday deals. Really want to stock up for the holidays.

L Linda Nguyen 1 week ago
Oh for sure! They usually have Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday too. Keep an eye out.

Yep, they definitely run Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials. Also sometimes holiday bundles around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Good time to grab some bottles.

how do these compare to like, One Hope Wine? similar vibe but better wine maybe?

N Nathan P. 2 weeks ago
I've tried both. I think Rescue Dog Wines has a more consistent quality across their range. One Hope can be a bit hit or miss for me.

M Michelle Brown 2 weeks ago
They both have that charitable aspect, which is cool. I'd say Rescue Dog Wines feels a bit more focused on the actual winemaking quality. Their Lodi roots are strong, and I think that shows in the taste compared to some other charity wines.

Thinking about getting some branded merch, like a hat or shirt. How's the quality on that stuff?

J Jeff L. 2 weeks ago
Got a t-shirt last year, it's pretty soft, not super thin. Held up fine after a few washes.

I have one of their tote bags and it's decent quality, feels sturdy enough. I wouldn't expect high fashion, but for casual wear or showing support, it's good.
